Every year approximately 200,000 veterans transition from active duty service to the private sector and the vast majority will require a new career to support their families. Many transitioning veterans experience challenges during this journey including knowing what they might do and where they can apply their military skills and experience.

Marine Corp veteran Pat Conrad experienced it firsthand when he left the service.
