Vascular patients in St. Charles have better access to healthcare options [Video]

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – Testing, screening, and advanced care options have been expanded in St. Charles County to give patients better access and healthcare options in their own community.

SSM Health has been growing its many points of access, from hospitals to outpatient centers, with more to come. Patients with vein diseases such as peripheral artery disease (PAD), diabetic foot ulcers, and problems with blood flow to their intestines or kidneys can stay in their own community for expert care.

Dr. Jack Oak, a vascular surgeon with SSM Health St. Jospeh Hospitals in St. Charles, Lake St. Louis and Wentzville, says COVID was the catalyst to expand.
