Treasure Valley cooling centers open for summer [Video]

BOISE, Idaho — The cities of Caldwell and Nampa, and Ada County’s Our Path Home, announced an extensive list of cooling center locations for individuals in Ada and Canyon counties to access air conditioning and other services as the summer heat approaches.

Our Path Home said cooling centers open in June and will remain open through September. The organization’s comprehensive guide provides resources beyond cooling service information, such as crisis support, health services and summer safety tips.

“In light of the projected summer heat, we are actively collaborating with local partners to ensure a comprehensive response to the needs of our vulnerable population during the coming months” said Saidee Jones, Our Path Home coordinator.
