TikToker Eva Evans’ Cause of Death Revealed: Report [Video]

The cause of death of TikTok star and Club Rat creator Eva Evans has been revealed.

Evans, who was 29 at the time of her death on April 20, died by suicide after hanging herself in her New York City apartment, the New York City Medical Examiner told TMZ.

PEOPLE reached out to the medical examiner’s office for comment, but they did not immediately respond.

The outlet also reported that friends of Evans told authorities that they didn’t know her to have emotional problems. 

Evans was known as a TikTok personality with more than 300,000 followers on the popular video-sharing platform. She covered a range of topics from breakups to reviews of her TikTok purchases.
