SENIORS fear getting kicked out of their homes after homeowners associations have imposed foreclosures for unpaid fines.

HOA residents are asking for action to be taken now to make sure those on fixed incomes can keep their homes.

As of 2022, the state of Colorado had more citizens over 65 than teenagers, according to the State Demographer.

There were 539,270 young adults aged 18 to 24 and 928,029 people 65 and up.

The number continues to grow and by 2030 it will be drastically different.

Colorado’s State Demographer forecasts in 11 years there will be 584,322 young adults, only a small uptick from 2022, and 1,186,441 people 65+.

The forecast of 65+ residents was much larger, staying consistent with past statistics.
