Despite the eclipse only reaching 98% totality in the BCS, a crowd of College Station residents from all walks of life came together to experience the eclipse.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Although the city of College Station only experienced 98% totality on the day of the Great American Eclipse, there was still a large crowd of generations of residents looking forward to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
College Station resident, Ozden Ochoa, who has been living here since 1976 said, “This is once-in-a-lifetime for me even though I’m a senior citizen, with or without clouds we were determined to be a part of this occasion.”
The younger generation was interested in seeing how nature changed.
“I’m going to look at the eclipse and my dad is going to film my dog getting crazy,” said Girl Scout, Eleanor Nation.
