Scientists Develop AI-Assisted, Blood Test to Detect, Parkinson’s Before Onset.

‘The Guardian’ reports that researchers believea new blood test that uses artificial intelligencecan predict the development of Parkinson’s disease.

The test, which could alert people to the healthcondition seven years before symptoms arise,may hit the health service within the next two years.

Currently, there are no drugs that protect the brainfrom Parkinson’s, however, an accurate predictorwould allow clinics to identify at-risk patients.

Those patients could be eligible to takepart in clinical trials of treatments thatare aimed at slowing the disease.
