MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – In a historic showdown, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will take the stage at the CNN-hosted debate in Atlanta on Thursday. A little more than four months out from the election and before either party’s convention, the debate is unusually early in the campaign season.
Ahead of the debate, Wisconsin Democrat Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez told WMTV 15′s State Capitol Bureau Chief that abortion access and the high cost of livings are some of the main issues that should be highlighted on the debate stage tonight.
“I am hopeful that we can really see what these two visions look like, that would be a successful debate, in my perspective,” Rodriguez said.
