Laycie was really excited to meet the Princess and it wasn’t just her: “The atmosphere on the day, everyone was just buzzing. Students were coming out of lectures, not knowing, like who was coming, but someone important was, and these crowds were gathering, and there were cheers when she got out of the car.”
