Ossian Senior Hospice damaged in Winneshiek County storms [Video]

OSSIAN, Iowa (KCRG) – Storms tore through Winneshiek County Wednesday afternoon, causing damage to homes and buildings, and knocking down power lines.

People are assessing the damage on Thursday, including the damage at a senior care center in Ossian.

Ossian Senior Hospice shared images and video of damage to the building’s roof caused by the storms.

The center said everyone is safe, no one was injured and no one was displaced by the damage.

Staff with the center thanked people who came out to help with the roof.

County Emergency Management is asking people to report storm damage.
