Nick Lachey Talks ‘Cringeworthy’ Perfect Match Season 2 Challenges (Exclusive) [Video]

Nick Lachey knows there were some uncomfortable moments during Perfect Match season 2.

As the popular Netflix dating show nears its season 2 finale on Friday, June 21, Lachey looks back at this season and admits the compatibility challenges were definitely awkward to watch as host of the series.

The challenges, which took place throughout the season, saw the couples participating in physical activities meant to determine their compatibility levels. Some of them were more about emotional connections, like how well they knew each other, while others were a bit more physical and required the show’s participants to kiss, dry-hump and take body shots off of each other.

“It is cringeworthy at times, there’s no doubt about it,” Lachey, 50, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Which is why it makes for good TV.”
