National Police Week: Fostering community and law enforcement collaboration at Ellsworth AFB [Video]

BOX ELDER, S.D. (KEVN) – Law enforcement and service members’ families at Ellsworth Air Force Base were invited to participate in a display as part of National Police Week.

Getting that community involvement between local law enforcement working together with Ellsworth Air Force Base is important, not only during National Police Week but in the grand scheme of things, especially when men and women who are stationed at the base live either in or in the surrounding area.

“People might not know what we and some of the other agencies here actually do,” said Ellsworth Air Force Base 28th Security Forces Squadron Tech Sgt. Ethan Taylor. “So being able to get that awareness out some good transparency and community involvement.”
