Modifiable Risk Factors: Diet and Nutrition

Healthy diet and nutrition are important components of overall wellbeing and may also reduce the risk of cognitive decline and dementia. In this webinar, Puja Agarwal, Ph.D, from Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center outlines the evidence behind diet and nutrition as a modifiable risk factor for dementia and what this means for public health.

Public health professionals and others hoping to promote healthy dietary patterns within their communities can benefit from this overview of the latest scientific evidence on the association between diet and nutrition and dementia risk.

The Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Risk Reduction is made possible by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as part of a financial assistance award totaling $2,973,948, with 100% funded by CDC/HHS. The contents of this video are those of the Alzheimer’s Association and do not necessarily represent the official views of, nor an endorsement by, CDC/HHS or the U.S. Government.
