Martin Roberts, who has famously hosted property show Homes Under the Hammer since 2003, has revealed he is glad that the UK votes for “nice people” to win I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! The BBC presenter, who entered the jungle on the ITV show back in 2016, spoke about his experience in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk.

After proudly promoting Gas Safety Register’s newest campaign combating confusion over household protection policies, Martin shared his relief that the British people don’t crown “obnoxious” I’m A Celeb winners. Speaking about 2024 winner Sam Thompson, he said: “One thing the show does really well is that it promotes nice people.

“It’s invariably not always the people you might expect to win who end up winning. But when people just prove themselves to be nice human beings… [they do well].”
