As Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell‘s cancer gets more and more serious, her mother Mama June Shannon is urging her to declare which family member will get custody of her daughter, Kaitlyn.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive first look at Friday’s episode of Mama June: Family Crisis, Mama June confronts her daughter about putting together a document that dictates who will take guardianship of Kaitlyn once she passes away.

“We don’t have any say so over Kylee, we know that. I feel like the moment you take your last breath her dad, Michael, is going to be in the front yard, pulling her out of this house,” she says, explaining the likely possibility of Anna’s daughters being separated. “Would that suck for everybody involved? It most certainly will, but then we also have the situation with Kaitlyn.”
