The Louisiana Department of Children and Families Services announced Tuesday that summer EBT will be rolled out in phases through a program called SUN Bucks. SUN Bucks provides grocery benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. According to a news release issued by LDCFS, each eligible child will receive a single payment of $120 for the summer, with benefits being issued in multiple phases beginning in June.
