Local college baseball, softball teams make NCAA Regionals [Video]

BANGOR, WATERVILLE, Maine (WABI) – Local college teams are finding their spots in NCAA Regionals.

The Husson baseball team will be facing No. 1 Endicott in the Eastern Connecticut State regional this weekend.

The Eagles gave their thoughts on the matchup and winning the NAC for a fifth straight season.

“At this point in the season, everybody is 0-0. The seeding doesn’t matter. You’ve got to beat everybody. We take care of business. We run this conference. We outwork everybody, and that’s why we did it,” said Jackson Curtis, senior infielder.

“It’s a lot of hard work paying off. We start our grind early in the fall, and when we get to this point in the year, just like we told the guys before our conference tournament, this is what we worked for. To see it finally paying off is really nice,” said Ryan Robb, senior pitcher.
