Lexington woman turns 100 as senior living staff celebrates huge milestone [Video]

LEXINGTON Ky.- A resident at Preston Greens Senior Living is celebrating 100 years of life.

Anita Cox is now 100 years young, and this milestone was celebrated at Preston Greens Senior Living. Anita was treated to a celebration featuring the staff and other residents. Will Naylor is the activity director.

“To be able to celebrate such a huge milestone for Anita with the residents and staff at Preston Greens is truly amazing. The building has been open for only a few years and it is to my knowledge that she is the first person to turn 100 years old. Anita is such a sweet lady and makes all of the staff smile whenever we see her and to be able to celebrate today with her truly means a lot…it’s not every day that someone turns 100,” Naylor said.
