Karen Gillan Breaks Her Hip & Makes A Friend In Lisa Steen’s Comedy [Video]

Sometimes a broken hip is the best thing that could happen to you. Or at least that’s the situation seen in the upcoming comedy film, “Late Bloomers.”

As seen in the trailer, “Late Bloomers” tells the story of a young woman who finds herself suddenly single and with a broken hip. While recovering in the hospital, she meets an older lady and they form a bittersweet friendship. When they leave the hospital, the young woman is now hired to be the older lady’s caregiver. Heartfelt hilarity ensues.

The film stars Karen Gillan, Margaret Sophie Stein, Jermaine Fowler Alexandra Barreto, and Taylor Feltner. “Late Bloomers” is directed by Lisa Steen, working from a script written by Anna Greenfield.
