AMHERST TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) — The Lorain County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an elderly man from Amherst Township who went missing on Thursday.
Robert Igoe, 90, left his home at about 11 a.m. to buy parts for his lawnmower from a Lorain store. Investigators said Igoe never made it there and hasn’t been heard from since.
According to the sheriff’s office, Igoe may be suffering from the early stages of dementia. Investigators said he’s had trouble finding his way home before.

His vehicle, a 2010 silver Dodge Ram with Ohio license plate DWK7996, was last seen in the Toledo area at about 8:47 a.m. on Friday morning, heading west toward Indiana.
Anyone who sees this missing person should contact law enforcement.
