Here’s how you can take the train from Raleigh to the U.S. Open [Video]

RALEIGH, N.C. — Planning to attend the 2024 USGA U.S. Open this year? Skip the hectic traffic and parking and take the train! 

The NC Department of Transportation’s Rail Division announced a special train that can take you from Raleigh to Pinehurst for the U.S. Open. 

The “Open Express” train will run daily between Raleigh Union Station and the Pinehurst Clubhouse near the Pinehurst No. 2 golf course from June 13-16, when championship play is scheduled for the U.S. Open. 

Practice rounds for the golf tourney are June 10-12.
