Health costs top older adults’ list of most-concerning health issues: National Poll on Healthy Aging [Video]

Different types of health-related costs, and financial scams that can cause mental distress, were rated by adults over 50 as the most-concerning health-related issues for older adults in their community, according to a report from the National Poll on Healthy Aging.

A poll of adults over 50 in Michigan found similar rates of concern about the same issues. This video features John Z. Ayanian, M.D., M.P.P., discussing the poll’s findings; he is a longtime research on how health costs affect health behaviors, and on the impacts of health policy on individuals and populations.
