Gannon Students Participate in Day of Caring – Erie News Now [Video]

500 students from Gannon University spread across twenty different locations in Downtown Erie for their annual Day of Caring.

One group of volunteers who were working with Urban Erie CDC to clean up classrooms and a gym at Burton Elementary.

Volunteers also worked at different locations through Our West Bayfront to help beautify Gridley Park by mulching and planting flowers.

Meantime, another group worked with the U.S. Committee on Refugee and Immigrants to help clean up neighborhoods where new residents will soon be living in Erie.

In addition to cleaning up Downtown Erie, groups also worked in Harborcreek and in West County.
