Friends hold vigil sharing memories of missing Vancouver woman [Video]

WEST LINN Ore. (KPTV) – It has been a week and a half since 61-year-old Cristina Ase was seen on March 26. On a rainy Friday night, her friends and coworkers held a vigil at the Rose Linn Care Center where she works.

“10 days is such a long time,” said Kathleen Wyatt, who has been working with Ase for going 10 years. “I think about her out in this rain, isn’t that silly?”

The group lit candles and shared fond memories. Michael Peecher said they’re keeping their friend, co-worker and loved one in their thoughts. He remains hopeful that she will be found soon.

“She would do this for anyone here and more,” Peecher said. “It’s the least we could so.”

“If she’s still with us, I can’t wait to see her again,” Wyatt said.
