BUFFALO, N.Y. — Four months after closing on Niagara Street, Twin Petrels Seltzer Co. has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection.
Buffalo Seltzer Co. LLC, doing business as Twin Petrels Seltzer, filed April 3 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York, claiming liabilities just over $1 million with total assets of $265,000. The filing also names corporate parent TPS Beverage Holdings LLC.
Chapter 7 of the U.S. bankruptcy code involves liquidating a debtor’s nonexempt property with distribution of the proceeds to creditors.
