EAAA outlines plans for major Healthy Aging Expo on May 16th [Video]

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Organizers of the Eastern Area Agency on Aging are talking up their first major event of 2024.

The Annual Healthy Aging Expo will take place on Thursday, May 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Anah Shriners building at 1404 Broadway in Bangor.

Over 1000 attendees showed up for last year’s 15th staging of the event, and organizers say they are expecting that number to grow this year.

Christopher Hill from EAAA is one of the main organizers behind the event.

“For those that don’t know, it’s really like a kind of resource fair. We have a lot of vendors and sponsors that want to connect with our older community members with programs, services, and resources to help them live a happier and more engaged life,” said Hill.

Northern Light Health is partnering with EAAA as this year’s platinum sponsor.
