Drake Milligan on coming back to Memphis, touring with Co-Jo, and what he learned on Americas Got Talent [Video]

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Rising country music sensation Drake Milligan, currently on tour with Cody Johnson, stopped by the Action News 5 studio for an exclusive interview before hitting the stage at FedExForum Saturday night.

With over 100 million on-demand worldwide streams to date, Milligan is currently on tour supporting his sophomore project, “Jukebox Songs” as well as his YouTube series, “Living Room Sessions” and YouTube short film, “Drake Milligan – Girl Problems”.

Milligan is no stranger to Memphis.  In 2016, he filmed the CMT series “Sun Records” in the Bluff City, in the role of a young Elvis Presley who he calls a musical hero.

Most recently, Milligan was a finalist on “America’s Got Talent Season 17″ and returned to his primetime roots for “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League”.

He received a nomination for “Breakthrough Male Video of the Year” at the 2023 CMT Awards.
