DLA Piper makes two partner promotions [Video]

Law firm DLA Piper has promoted Darach Connolly and William Marshall to the firm’s global partnership.

Connolly, part of the firm’s Litigation and Regulatory practice, joined DLA Piper Ireland in 2020 and focuses on EU and Irish competition law.

The firm said his experience includes defending clients in dawn raids and antitrust investigations before the European Commission and the Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

Marshall works in the firm’s Corporate practice and joined DLA Piper Ireland in 2021. He advises on energy and  natural resources related matters with a focus on Irish power generation and storage assets. His clients include project developers, funders, sellers, and purchasers of energy assets.

The firm said Marshall also advises energy traders, suppliers and large consumers and has a focus on regulation, grid, offtake, and power trading arrangements.
