Denise DAscenzo foundations walk for rare diseases raising money for local charities, including ALS United CT [Video]

HAMDEN, Conn. (WFSB) – This Saturday, hundreds will gather on the campus of Quinnipiac University for the Denise D’Ascenzo Foundation’s walk for rare diseases.

Money raised will help a number of local charities, among them, ALS United Connecticut.

ALS United CT supports the three hundred state residents living with what’s also known as ‘Lou Gehrig’s disease’, along with their caregivers.

This is the story of Brian Savo, who is fighting the fight and offering encouragement to those impacted by ALS.
