I created this for my mother who 2 months ago she was in late stage of Lewy Body Dementia (same as Robin Williams) and only had 2 months. She passed away after fighting with doctors for years trying to prove she had some form of dementia and she was rapidly declining after her official diagnosis.
I watched my mother someone that could have left something somewhere in the house for years and when it was needed no matter what she could tell me where it was. She guided me when my son died at birth and she was the rock for every single one of the people that knew my brother Cpl Marc Ryan that was KIA Ramadi Iraq.
I still to this day advocate for family members who are very involved with the need of their families to use their own voice to fight for their loved ones care. just because I didn’t have a fancy piece of paper saying I was a Dr they refused to listen even thought I had been right about so many of the medical issues she had and was told by multiple doctors that decided to listen told me if I didn’t demand them to look my mother would have died many years ago #elderlycare #dementia
