CSISD begins planning for approved bond projects [Video]

College Station Superintendent Tim Harkrider said the fun part is coming soon for the school district as administrators begin planning to carry out athletics-related bond projects approved by voters earlier this month.

Three board members met for a special meeting Wednesday at the district office to canvass the bond results. Only two board members are needed for a quorum. With formalities done and projects receiving the green light, plans can be made to fulfill what the district billed as needs.

VLK Architects has handled the district’s 2023 bond projects that were approved last November. Harkrider said at the school board’s meeting next Tuesday the board will vote on giving him authorization to amend the district’s agreement with VLK to allow the firm to also oversee the 2024 bond projects.
