Following sell-out seasons across the country with Manifesto, internationally renowned Australian choreographer Stephanie Lake makes a triumphant return to Brisbane with her monumental work, Colossus.

Colossus is an exhilarating contemporary dance performance for 50 dancers, soundtracked by legendary composer Robin Fox. Colossus is a mind-boggling feat of living architecture as a horde of black-clad bodies explodes into action, sometimes battling for control, sometimes excluding individuals, sometimes existing in harmony, always thrilling.

In Brisbane, Colossus will be performed by local dancers from Queensland Ballet’s Pre-Professional & Jette Parker Young Artist Programs and Queensland University of Technology (Dance) students.

Colossus sold-out its premiere season at Arts Centre Melbourne and has since toured Sydney, Perth, France, Taipei, Germany, Hong Kong, Newcastle (Aus), Geneva, Montreal, Toronto and Buenos Aires receiving standing ovations, five-star reviews and rapturous response from audiences.
