Sioux City Journal entertainment reporter Bruce Miller talks cults and a change in setting with Jordan Scott, the writer/director of “A Sacrifice,” a film adaptation of Nicholas Hogg’s 2015 novel “Tokyo,” that is scheduled for release June 28.

The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will proceed to St. Augustine Catholic Church and Indian Mission in Winnebago on Saturday. The stop in Winnebago is part of the St. Junipero SERRA Route, one of four routes that travel to Indianapolis for the 10th National Eucharistic Congress.
