Bay County dealership says RV sales starting to bounce back | Business [Video]

FRANKENLUST TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJRT) – If you’ve been thinking about purchasing a new RV, you aren’t alone.

New data from the RV Industry Association shows sales are picking up, which could be a good sign for the economy.

“As an industry, we’ve just adapted and tried to find what works for the average American family,” said Kelley Harvey, the General Manager at International RV World in Bay County.

Harvey says inflation had a major impact on sales both at her dealership and nationwide. According to the RV Industry Association, sales dropped over 36 percent from 2022 to 2023.

“It’s been a hard hit on interest rates and everything else, but again, people are adapting. And as a dealership, we’ve found ways to maximize the value of an RV,” she said.
