Ability First Summer Camp | News [Video]

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – Ability First has a camp in Durham to give children with disabilities a traditional camp experience with nurturing support and lots of fun.

“Ability First is great; if you have disabled kids or able-bodied kids, you should bring them here,” camp leader and participant, Ashlynn Smith said. 

Ability First strives to empower youth and young adults with physical disabilities to engage in sports and other outdoor activities. This week was its 39th annual week-long overnight summer sports camp. Kids spent today at Sky Lake in Durham to try out water skiing, rugby, cycling, archery and much more.
