Nearly 580,000 people aged 65 and older in Florida are living with Alzheimer’s disease, a common form of dementia.

The stress on caregivers and family members can be overwhelming when a loved one with memory issues wanders away without a trace.

Council of Aging Martin County, a nonprofit organization located inside the Kane Center in Stuart, is stepping up to address this challenge.
