This Face to Face Mental Health Support programme allows the student to undertake the New Zealand qualification while studying in New Zealand on a student visa. The student will undertake 400 hours of an unpaid internship at an appropriate facility arranged by Kalandra.

NZQA approved – Level 5 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.

Working as a Level 4 healthcare assistant in New Zealand may lead to permanent residence (as per current immigration settings – June 2024).
The programme:
Length: 52 weeks (including 4 holiday weeks)
Learning: 20 hours per week in class
Total learning hours: 1200 hours
Work placement: will be arranged to enable you to complete your 400 hours required (non paid).
