4 Uncommon Drills to Delay Neurodegeneration (Improve Brain Performance)

Delay (or even prevent) neurodegeneration? Learn 4 uncommon exercises to stay sharp.

First, you’ll learn what neurodegeneration is and the factors involved. It’s not just neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s. Eventually, everyone will experience some degree of confusion, lack of focus, uncontrolled emotionality, and other pathologies.

Your brain isn’t a separate thing. Most advice focuses on mental games, puzzles, sudoku, etc. Now, these are important, too! But our brains are also wired for vision and movement, so we can stimulate more areas, get that oxygen flowing and those electrons moving with these easy exercises.

You won’t need any equipment!

The first exercise progresses over four weeks. You’ll teach your brain how to get oxygen more efficiently and keep it healthy.

The second exercise is one we’ve recommended over and over. And, if you have a dog, you’re probably already doing it.

Third and fourth will start activating areas associated with movement and vision, which conveniently activates most of your grey matter since so many areas of the brain interact with our ability to see and/or move in some way.

These aren’t just for people who might be experiencing neurodegeneration already. Everyone over 40 should be working these into their day in some way, or even if you’re 30+ and want to get a head start. It’s always better to start preventing something than to start treating it. But even if you are predisposed to neurodegeneration like dementia, that doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee. This routine can give you tools to keep it off for as long as possible.
