* For same-sex couples looking to start a family, there’s a variety of fertility options available. But fertility treatments can be expensive. And there are legalities to keep in mind as well. * Let’s start off, just dig in, if we could, to some of the options that 2SLGBTQ+ parents might consider when starting a family. They might do one, or another, or a combination of things.

* Yes, exactly. So most 2SLGBTQ+ people these days use some form of assisted reproduction to create their families. So, for example, for lesbian couples, they may use donor sperm and then get pregnant through insemination or IVF, if that’s needed, where the embryo’s created outside the body.
